The UK government has removed all COVID travel restrictions that were put in place at the start of the pandemic in 2020. However, airlines and some transiting countries may still require proof of vaccination and a negative COVID test result.

To prepare you for international travel and everything that goes with it, Flight Centre Business Travel has put together some guides you may want to read well before heading to the airport.

What you need to know

 

UK Arrival

Prior to flying to the UK

  • Check with your FCBT Travel Manager if your airline or any countries you're transiting though require a negative COVID test result or vaccination proof.
AUS Returning

Returning to Australia

  • Australia does not require COVID-19 tests prior to travel or on arrival for fully vaccinated passengers. Check if your airline requires a COVID-19 test.
  • Complete a Digital Passenger Declaration (DPD) online within 72 hours of your departing flight.
  • Ensure you have your mask with you and your Australian International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (ICVC) is accessible for your flight home.

When travelling to the UK remember to:

  • Make sure your International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate is easily accessible

  • Ensure you have adequate medical insurance cover.
