International travel is back – and Australians mean business

If only we could have bottled the joy and excitement at Sydney International Airport on Monday, 21 February. Borders were finally open, and 56 international flights were scheduled to touch down from the UK, the US, Canada, Japan and beyond – after one of the longest and strictest lockdowns in the world.

As borders open (with Western Australia joining the party today, 3 March) and restrictions for fully-vaccinated travellers are relaxed, so customer confidence grows. In leaps and bounds.

Business travel is seeing impressive recovery, particularly in New South Wales and Victoria, with the US, UK and UAE topping the list of FCBT’s most popular international destinations. In short, Australian SMEs are ready and raring to go.

And yet, with ever changing world events and differing responses to COVID-19 there is still a lot to navigate when it comes to international travel.

This is where FCBT’s dedicated Travel Managers come in.

Experts in both the unique needs of SMEs AND the international travel landscape, they can get you back on the road with confidence. Trust FCBT with the latest travel advice; up-to-the minute information on COVID restrictions and regulations worldwide; the best routes, fares and deals; as well as visas and travel insurance (an absolute non-negotiable these days!).
